26 Oct 2008. This year the Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon is in its sixth edition. In addition to the full marathon there is also a half marathon (21 km), a 10 km road race and a family fun run (3 km). Proceeds from the event go to Seeing is Believing, a global initiative by Standard Chartered Bank aimed at eradicating avoidable blindness. Prospective runners can register online at www.nairobimarathon.com or at any Standard Chartered Bank branch.
