Standard Chartered Nairobi marathon

The 11th Nairobi marathon is sponsored by Standard Chartered again this year. The start is at 06.30 at Nyayo National Stadium. There are 42-km, 21-km, 10-km and 6-km runs. The marathon started in 2003 with about 4,000 runners and now about 21,000 people participate. Money from the event will go to Seeing is Believing, the bank's own charity to alleviate avoidable blindesss.
