The Great Goatsby

The 14th annual Dar es Salaam charity goat races. This annual family fund raising event attracts about 4,000 people each year in support of small Tanzanian charities.

This year money raised by the event will go to14 organisations throughout the country, some of which are involved in health and educational projects and others that provide assistance to disabled and disadvantaged women and children.

There are the seven goat races during the day, the most exciting being the Coca Cola Happiness Sweepstakes and the Kilitime Stakes.

There is also refreshments, a raffle and a kids’ corner.
