The Politics of Representation

20 November 2011-31 January 2012. This exhibition brings together posters, stickers, banners, fliers, photographs and other ephemera produced throughout the month by the numerous Egyptian political parties, that will run for parliamentary elections for the first time in the recent history on 28 November 2011.

The material on display has been used in the recent months by the parties for their public campaigns to communicate their values and visions. There is also an analysis of the different visual strategies, iconography, symbols, colors and designs each party chose to identify with.
