5-8 April 2012. This concert, entitled The Someday Tour Feat, is performed by Christ Adwar, a Kenyan musician, singer and songwriter, and by Atemi Oyungu, an Afro soul singer. These two musical performers take spectators on a unique journey through old and new tunes, inspired by love, longing, peace and other compelling themes.
Adwar is a well known musician and producer as well as the founder of the popular Villagers Band and one of the founding members of the famed gospel choir VUC. He is
considered the father of Bengenge, a mix of benga and other traditional African genres with genge and other forms of urban music.
Oyungo is considered the Kenyan Jill Scott as well as an Afro soul diva. Her music is a mixture of neo soul and afro fusion. Her strong voice has made her one of the most impressive African singers.
On 5 April this concert is performed at Alliance Française Nairobi, on 6 Apr at Mombasa Continental Resort, on 8 Apr at the Blankets and Wine Festival, Nyali
International Beach, Nairobi.
