Theaterwerkstatt

This project, entitled Theaterwerkstatt, was launched by the European Union National Institut for Culture in Mozambique (EUNIC) in collaboration with theatrical groups and experts in 2011. It is an initiative in Mozambican primary schools to teach children more about society, health and nature.

This year it will start with a project, held by some theatrical experts, who will focus on education and theatre. The workshop will be introduced by the South African theatre director and dreama therapist, Warren Nebe, who founded and directed Drama for Life, an internationally acclaimed postgraduate academic and research programme, which focuses on dialogue for purposes of social transformation though an integrated approach to applied drama, drama in education and drama therapy.
