3-27 June 2009. The Madrid-based British artist Toni Squance displays his works in South Africa for the first time. He observes people as they travel to work on the underground early in the morning and portrays black figures on a white background. His figures stand, sit, sleep and stare, surrounded by nothing: no rail, no floor, no shadow.
