18 November 2010. The Italian Cultural Institute pays homage to the life and music of the Italian composer of the Romantic period Vincenzo Bellini (1801-1835) with a screening of extracts from his operas La Sonnambula with Nathalie Dessay, Norma with Edita Gruberova and his last work, I Puritani, with Anna Netrebko.

Bellini was a child prodigy and at the age of five he already played the piano perfectly. He then studied at the conservatory in Naples and became a master of the so-called Italian operatic bel canto and was particularly appreciated worldwide for his opera Norma.

Event takes place at the Michelangelo Hall and starts at 19.00.
