Wildlife Photographers of the Year 2009.

9 Dec 2009-13 March 2010. This international exhibition features work by the very best wildlife and, more generally, nature photographers from 2009. Furthermore, it offers an insight into the beauty and diversity of the natural world.

The competition for best wildlife photographer of the year is organized every year by two British institutions, the Natural History Museum and BBC Wildlife Magazine. Both amateur and professional photographers can take part. The photographs range from colourful landscapes to portraits of animals displaying their characteristics and behaviour.
