4 July 2006. Posters by secondary school students of French on the theme of Women as seen by Senghor go on display at the French-Mozambican cultural centre in Maputo. The posters are the result of a competition run by the Mozambican education and culture ministry and the Mozambican association of French teachers with support from the French embassy to mark Francophone month in March 2006, which this year was dedicated to the Senegalese poet and statesman Lopold Sdar Senghor (1906-2001).
