14-25 February 2011. This fine arts workshop is dedicated to contemporary painting and brings together artists from Bagamoyo and Dar es Salaam directed by the German painter Klaus Hartmann.
This workshop, which focuses on the richness of contemporary painting techniques and methods, is dedicated to students, who will find out more about prominent artists Max Ernst, Dieter Roth, Fernando Botero, Wangechi Mutu and Sandra Vasques de la Horra through books and documentary films. Furthermore, Hartmann will introduce his own body of work.
