Workshop on Ghanaian Music Stakeholders

12-13 June 2012. This two days workshop is dedicated to Ghanaian music stakeholders and their transition into foreign markets.

Through lecture series and public discussions it aims to provide African musicians with the guidelines to marketing their music internationally in a time of extended musical globalization. Furthermore, its goal is to introduce musicians to the technical and scientific aspect of producing, mixing and mastering music as well as to the legalities and policies of this industry, such as copyright, publishing and licensing issues. It also introduces participants to foreign expertise, such as the German, and illustrates their influences and benefits for the style of Ghanaian music.
