Zanzibar International Film Festival

7-15 July 2012. This year’s edition of the Zanzibar International Film Festival (ZIFF) includes a rich programme of cultural events.

The festival, consists in a long list of film screenings as well as other events such as a Dhow race, a music festival, held in the Mambo club, some Workshops on HD Camera and Film Editing Techniques, the theatre performance of Calabashes, panel presentations and an open forum on Developing the Film and Entertainment Industry for Employment Creation as well as some activities for children.

On 13 July the movie projections and other collateral activities will be entirely dedicated to Women, followed by a Fashion show and by the night of women musicians and singers. On 15 July there is expected to be a Grand Finale concert with the headline artists at Mambo club.
