Kenya National Museum (Nairobi Museum)
Established in 1930 in honour of former Kenyan governor Sir Robert Coryndon, a keen natural historian, Kenya’s largest museum is home to important collections of hominid fossils and cultural artifacts from the country’s 42 ethnic groups. The museum reopened in March 2008 after an extensive restructuring and expansion project lasting two years. Daily 09.00-18.00.
